Workshed Africa, a Ghanaian company has launched a co-working space to provide affordable and comfortable work space for startups and freelancers.

According to the co-founder of Workshed Africa, Richard Bempong the idea of establishing the space was birthed out of the need to support the growth more startups in the country by enabling them own and work from comfortable spaces at a very little cost.

He noted that the cost of renting office space in the country had become a major challenge for most businesses especially startups whose productivity is largely affected by the unavailability of a conducive setting to operate from.

He added that, Workshed aims at nurturing and promoting a friendly community of entrepreneurs whose interaction would result in impactful partnerships and social development.

Located on the main Spintex Road in Accra, Workshed offers patrons a conducive open business space fully fitted with air conditioners. The space has a dedicated and reliable internet service with meeting rooms and a coffee bar.

Entrepreneurs and Startups have the opportunity to subscribe to a 300 cedis per month lite package or a 600 cedis per month full membership package or can alternatively rent a space for only 25 cedis per day to use the facility.
