It has emerged that exciting Chinese entrepreneur and startup owner, Deng Jingquan died in last Tuesday’s terror attack at the Brussels Airport.

The 24-year-old, who is also known as Frank Deng, was a frequent traveler who less than two years ago started his own technology company after studying international trade at a college in eastern China.

He had stayed in Indonesia for almost two years before returning to his home country to set up the internet company in Shenzhen.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he set up Shenzhen Guoguoxianchi Internet Technology Co.,Ltd in August 2014.

Reports say he was headed for Slovenia on that fateful day when he was killed in the attack.

A statement by the Chinese Embassy confirmed Deng Jingquan’s death however did not provide details.

Mr. Deng’s work colleagues from his previous workplace, Comen Medical Instruments, in social media tributes remembered him as a cheerful, resourceful friend.


One of the message said; “A time of life that should have been aflame with vitality has been snuffed out in a terrorist explosion,” “A personality as spirited as a flying swallow came to its end in a March journey.”
