Nominations Opened for 2016 African Achievers’ Awards

The management board of the annual African Achievers Award have announced the opening of this year’s nominations of distinguished African personalities for the awards.

Africans all over the continent have the opportunity to nominate deserving individuals and organizations who have impacted positively in the continent through their respective corporate and individual endeavours.

African achievers can be nominated in various categories including Most Valuable African President, Sports man of the year, African journalist of the year, Charity organization of the year, African literature prize, Young enterpreneur of the year, African best airline (Domestic), African best airline (International), African Industrialist of the year, Award for quality education in North Africa, Award for quality education in Southern Africa, Award for quality education in East Africa, Award for quality education in West Africa, Award for peace keeping in Africa and many others.

Nominations can be made between 25th May and 25th June this year, ahead of the main awards event slatted for the latter part of the year.

The African Achievers’ Awards is to recognize individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves in their contribution towards the growth and development of Africa.

The focus is to motivate all African leaders including the future leaders through recognizing the persons and organizations that have contributed remarkably to the development of Africa.

Past recipients of the awards include, the late former President of Ghana, John Evans Atta-Mills and South African social rights activist, Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

African Achievers Awards® is produced, managed and maintained by the Institute of leadership and Management (a West African Leading Leadership Institute) and Achievers Media.
