Personal finance management coach, Dr. Paa Kofi Tinagyei has counseled aspiring entrepreneurs to become “hunters of problems” if they want to be wealthy.

He gave the advice at a students’ entrepreneurship seminar dubbed “How To Be An Entrepreneur” at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi.

According to the book author, the only way to make money was to identify and solve key problems bothering individuals in society.

“I know that if I’m able to provide solutions, I’m going to get money. The more people the problem affects, the more opportunities you have to make rates” he said.

He further added that “the more valuable the solutions, the more higher the amount of money you’re going to make”

Mr. Tinagyei said aspiring entrepreneurs must constantly and deliberately look around themselves to identify problems or situations that require an improvement or a remedy if they really want ideas they can turn into profitable businesses.


The “How to be an Entrepreneur 2016 (Campus Series)” is an entrepreneurship, business finance workshop organized by the Ghana Center for Entrepreneurship, Employment and Innovation (GCEEI), a subsidiary of the Orios Group in Accra.
