The 2016 Community Service Award scheme is a youth-focused awards competition aimed at developing young people in communities and exposing students to community service.

The competition, which has been running since 2014 is sponsored by Osei-Kusi Foundation and Selfless 4Africa Inc.


How to apply

1. Tertiary students (Ghanaians and or foreigners) in Ghana must form a team of between 3 and 5 students.

2. The team must create a name and catchy slogan

5. Choose a deprived community in Ghana, research on it and present a proposal focused on developing young people in that community.


The winning team will receive a package of GH¢ 10,000 (GH¢ 7,000 to implement the community project and GH¢ 3,000 for participants of the winning team).

NB: Students who form a group/ team must all come from the same tertiary institution.
